Military Appreciation: JE Pistons Powered Bikes at San Diego Supercross
Once per season, race teams and privateers gather in San Diego's Gaslamp District for a round of Supercross dedicated to military appreciation. Many teams and racers display custom-themed graphics and gear boasting military-inspired designs. It's great to see so many people in our sport showing support for our military and first responders, so we wanted to highlighted some of the awesome JE Pistons-powered machines we saw in the pits at SD SX.
Chaparral / FXR / Honda
The Chaparral / FXR / Honda team had some of the most eye-catching bikes in the pits with a metallic snow camo theme, complete with subtle military design touches. This team is running JE Pro Series pistons in their 250 and 450 race machines this season.
The HEP Motorsports Suzuki Team is in their second season of running JE Pro Series pistons, which have proven to make the yellow bike competitive on the track. Their camo theme graphics matched their Thor gear, making it a very clean overall military appreciation package.
Tyler Bowers is a longtime JE Pistons racer, and JE has been proud to support him through all his privateer efforts. His KX450 showed military support with a detailed camo theme and military-inspired numbers and name.
The JGRMX crew has been trusting JE Pistons to aid their legendary performance since the inception of their SX/MX race team. Their Suzukis showed incredible tribute to the US Navy, fitting for being in sunny San Diego. Photo: Travis Fant
Pro Circuit Racing
Pro Circuit, another race team that has been with JE since the inception of four-strokes in SX, had a very detailed Air Force theme that was one of the most popular in the pits! Photos: Motocross Action
