JE Pistons Growing to Meet Increased Deman|
Mentor, OH (December 11, 2014) – JE Pistons, the leader in high-performance forged and billet racing pistons, is adding jobs to both its Mentor, Ohio and Irvine, Calif., facilities to answer increased demand and to facilitate a focused effort on resetting the industry standard for customer service and timely product delivery.
All totaled, JE will add 22 positions to its staff, including 14 jobs at it’s Mentor, Ohio facility. Those jobs will fill entry-level needs all the way to Advanced Machinists and Sales Professionals. JE’s Irvine, Calif., based workforce will see a boost to its Design Engineer Team and Sales Staff.
“We’ve received a tremendous response since establishing a Midwest manufacturing center and offering two-week standard delivery on JE’s custom piston line,” said Alan Stevenson, Sales Manager, JE Pistons. “As a result, we are ramping up our workforce in both Mentor and Irvine. The enthusiasm from the marketplace has been overwhelming so we’re pleased to add a meaningful amount of new positions at both locations to service those needs.”
JE manufacturers the highest quality pistons and piston components that professional engine builders, race teams, and performance enthusiasts depend on. All JE Pistons are designed, manufactured, finished and warehoused in the United States.
“We’ve invested a tremendous amount of resources into continuously improving our manufacturing facilities in Ohio over the past year,” explained Ted Caldwell, JE’s Vice President of Operations. “We’re realizing efficiencies we expected with significant growth in capacity, additional CNC Machines and lead-time reduction. We’ve also expanded our R&D capability with a top-of-the-line automotive dyno test cell from Superflow, which translates directly into a need for additional engineering resources. We’re looking for driven, self-starters who thrive in a performance-centered environment. This is an exciting time for JE.”
